Who we are
TatraLab is a technology company that builds specialized products for professional sports timing and delivers data automation services for organizations with complex operational workflows. We work at the intersection of hardware, software, and data — building systems that need to work reliably in demanding, real-world conditions.
Why TatraLab exists
The sports timing industry runs on specialized tools, but many of those tools are fragmented, aging, or built without deep domain knowledge. We started TatraLab to build a better, more connected ecosystem — one designed by people who understand the operational realities of running professional timing events. The same precision mindset applies to the data automation work we do for clients outside of sports timing.

From the Tatras to international collaboration
We are based in Kežmarok, a small town at the foot of the High Tatras in northern Slovakia. It is not the obvious location for a technology company — but it is where we are from, and it shapes how we work: focused, direct, and with a long-term perspective. Our clients and collaborators are based across Europe, and we approach every project with the same attention to detail regardless of geography.
Vision
Our goal is to grow TatraLab into a product-led technology company with a strong ecosystem around sports timing and data automation. Alongside that, we want to contribute to a stronger technology community in our region — through the community space, TLAcademy, and by being a place where interesting technical work happens.
